On The Go medicines

Benadryl Children's Perfect Measure Pre-Filled Single Use Antihistamine Spoons, Cherry Flavored Liquid, 10-Count

Alka-seltzer FAST Multi-symptom Cold Relief in a Fizz-Free, Taste-Free Formula

Good news, now you don't have to lug around giant bottles of medicine !!

WHAT ? Why do you need a single serving of medicine ? WHEN YOU ARE OUTSIDE IN THE WORLD ?

A) If your child is sick, then keep them home. What is so important? If you have heartburn, how about you stop constantly eating old grease.

B) If you are a child and you cant buy medicine what difference does it make that the packaging is "cute"?

C) Does it have to have that ugly bubble type in bright colors ? Fuck you.

d) Do we ALL have to be medicated at all times ?Even the babies ,dear lord? THE BABIES?

E) Cant you just take the bottle and a spoon with you, if you must?

F) Plus, tough it out, you whiny sacks of shit !

  1. The packaging is for adults because after having children we lose the ability to think in a clear manner. (babies eat brains! really, they do!) If there wasn't colorful bubble lettering we might accidentally give our spawn the full-strength medication. Not a good idea...

I am a firm believer in not purchasing products in individual packaging. Until this month. When traveling with a sick small person. Who would scream at the sight of liquid medication. So, I buckled and bought some Mucinex in individual "servings." Well, the kid totally dug it, took her medication willingly, and 200 people on a plane didn't try to toss me out the emergency exit at 35,000 feet.

The moral of the story: I recycle, I toe the party line, I donate money to worthwhile causes, and, when in a pinch, I do what would normally cause me to have a spastic fit. Please don't hold it against me.

  2. We wont , and we understand that kids have violent food allergies , but it's just a disturbing trend which WILL grow. Mark our words.

  3. By the way, we have spastic fits everyday but you don't see US carrying around bucket loads of "on the go" klonopin ,do you ?

  4. Darling Irritables-

Last time I checked, klonopin is a very small pill. There is no need to carry around bucket loads of it as one medium-sized pill container of klonopin would probably be enough to do one in, if that is what you are going for. Plus pill bottles fit in pockets and have lids. Buckets do not.

As for my having spastic fits, you wouldn't even know if I had one in front of you. I tend to keep it all on the inside. For anyone to notice it would have to be of grand mal proportions and those are rare...
